To whom it may concern: In August 2005 I returned home from Operation
Iraqi Freedom for a 2 week break and sent an email to your company to see about
the process of getting a replacement stud for one that I lost on a ride. Well I
returned back to the Middle East to finish my tour in late August and when I
returned just a few days ago I found a package waiting for me with my mounting
stud! A super company called Great Bike Gear sent the part on August 26th with a
request to submit payment back to them. I thought that I would have to place an
order and pay up front. Your company has great support for a quality product! I
will preach about your product to anyone with a motorcycle. Outstanding service

| Last week I spoke to you
about my 1997 FXDWG. I explained
that I was looking to use your brackets along
with a detachable back rest. As you know using the
HD detachable backrest for the FXDWG does not allow
access to the required holes to mount your brackets.
Well I made it work and I was just writing to
explain how.
First I purchased the HD detachable
backrests for the FXD.
This has the same 10 3/8 - 10 < distance for the mounting
hardware as your brackets. Then based upon your
recommendation during our phone conversation I purchased
the DNA-L1 Easy Brackets.
I installed the docking hardware for the
backrest and the easy
brackets and found that by having the signal lights
mounted in the most rear hole in the bobtail fender
supports, the easy brackets would not slip onto the
docking hardware. They just would not clear the rear
portion of the signal lights. I had to move the signal
lights even further. I did just that by mounting
the signal lights (required in the state of NJ)
through the plastic sides of the license plate bracket.
Then the backrest and the easy brackets worked
perfectly.
I look forward to using these brackets
with my saddlebags and
am a satisfied customer. Thank your for
taking the time last week to assist me in this endeavor.
